Energia Africa >What we do > Networking

Networking

This strategy cuts across the first three components and aims are to strengthen the energy and gender networking, advocacy and resources at the regional, national and international level. Individuals and institutions with diverse backgrounds across a large number of countries are brought together to work on gender and energy activities. ENERGIA provides financial support towards implementation of the activities.

Networking and knowledge exchange is carried out through Annual Meetings at regional level to discuss progress, challenges and reaffirm priorities/commitment; dissemination of network identity: brochure, website and newsletter.

ENERGIA also provides seed funding to strengthen national networks and leverage funds, partnership and actions for gender and energy activities in countries. Networking activities have increased membership in the countries and led to strong partnerships with government and national networks have become key resource on gender and energy.
